Yonne
The Yonne department is located in central France, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, with its capital in Auxerre. The department is part of the northern Burgundy wine region (Chablis), and its landscape combines agricultural plains, vineyards and the forests of the Morvan. Its economy blends agriculture and winemaking, forestry and heritage tourism. The cost of living in the department is low, and it is about an hour and a half from Paris by train, making it a good option for daily commuting.
